"The downstairs area is very, very cool, and cosy. Nice music, not too loud at all, comfortable seating, stylish decor; nice tea and coffee, with casual seating including sofas, with more cafe-like tables nearer the entrance. There is also a bar furthest from the entrance, and another bar on the top level, I believe."

"Ordered an espresso and the coffee was surprisingly good. Good quality beans, temperature right and not too bitter. Thumbs up beating most coffee places in the world"

"4.5. Service is a bit spacey, especially for three people working behind the bar with no other customers. But coffee is on point and lounge is spacious. Worth the trip."

"Beautiful designer interior, also offers areas to work with your laptop. Plenty of plugs and fast WiFi (there is a small charger for this). Wonderful option for the nomadic worker. Also has good food and drinks, beers, coffee, etc. All available. Good options for snacks and meals too Staff are very friendly and helpful. Seating available outside. Fabulous views up on the top floor of the Tower of London and the Thames Happily spend the whole day working from here and have done often"

"A nice and ambient place to work. Lots of sockets and table space, plus friendly, accommodating staff and good coffee. Disappointingly I was only able to spend about 45 minutes here, even after buying a coffee, as I was asked to pay £20 as a non-member to continue using the space - high prices even for London! This drove me and others out (counter-intuitively, if I'd been able to stay longer I would have ended up buying more food/drinks). So wouldn't recommend if you want somewhere to work for a couple of hours."

"Was not expecting much from the coffee shop downstairs- usually hotels have terrible coffee. This was a massive surprise. Ordered an oat flat white, the barista gave me a normal one by accident and very quickly apologised and remade it with oat milk. Silky and string flat white- solid 9/10"

"The place is stylish and cozy. Not only it was comfortable in here, but the coffee served was actually a good one (surprisingly, as usually the hotel coffees weren't, in my experience). The interior design, lighting predisposes to study, work, read, so I've spent my time productively in here. And although there was a background music, it was a chilly-jazzy mix, which didn't bother/distract. Bonus: some places have nice London Tower views. Finally and importantly, a welcoming staff, yay! All in all, it was great to escape from the noisy city and heavy rain just to sip coffee inside and finish that book, finally."
